Mud Jacking Process
Step 1: Drilling

Adam's Mud Jacking and Piering drill 1-5/8" holes in strategic locations on each piece of concrete to be lifted. The locations, spacing and quantity are all determined based on your individual site conditions. This custom approach ensures accurate and controlled lifts that result in a more accurate finished product.
Step 2: Lifting

Adam's Mud Jacking and Piering use specialized pumping equipment that enables us to control both the speed of the lift, as well as the pressure involved. This ability enables us to have extremely accurate control of each piece of concrete, ensuring a finished product you can be proud of.
Step 3: Patching

Adam's Mud Jacking and Piering use a special reinforced poly mortar to patch our holes. This special blend is actually water resistant. This helps to ensure the hole plugs do not "pop" in our winter climate.
How do you know your concrete has settled ... other than it has sunken?

Ames experiences winter like few others do. There’s an old saying if you don’t like the weather, wait 20 minutes. When your ground starts to move, it will cause a lot of problems with your concrete. Slab jacking and mud jacking are the simple, cost effective fix. Most Eagle homeowners know to look for cracks in their concrete once settled, but those are not the only signs of concrete settlement trouble you can see. Look for settled dirt or a “sinking” effect on surrounding landscape beds. Separations between adjoining slabs are another indicator of movement. Gaps between stairs, bricks, siding, and caulking are also some of the common signs you will soon need to raise your concrete. While sunken patios, driveways, sidewalks, stairs and floors are obvious, being able to identify your troubled concrete ahead of time can save you hundreds of dollars in repairs. If you see any of these signs, give us a call for a free concrete inspection.
A True 1 Year Warranty in the Slab Jacking and Mud Jacking Industry

If you move from your Ames home, our concrete lifting warranty will transfer to the new owners. We are that confident our mud jacking process will last.
